As many of you are aware there is a leak under the community pool. The vendor will be completing the repair next week. The pool will be need to be closed on Tuesday, June 5th – Friday, June 8th.
Meritus has spoken with the Supervisor of Elections several times to gain clarity on how to move forward with the board seats. With the recent resignation of a board member, Pete Williams who was appointed at the May meeting, will be moved to Seat 5. At the next board meeting, two residents will be appointed to Seats 2 and 3 with terms expiring in 2020. If you are interested in filling either of these vacancies, please submit your resume to Nicole.firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, June 5th. We have also found that because two seats were part of the general election in 2016, regardless of whether they were filled or not, all three remaining seats must be a part of the general election taking place this year. This means that Seats 1, 4, and 5 will be filled by residents after the election this year, and the CDD board will be fully turned over to the homeowners.
Please do not touch the fountains in the pool. If the flow of the fountains is changed and the jets do no circulate the water back into the pool, the pool will drain and the fresh water autofill will run continuously. When the autofill does not shut off, the chemistry in the pool is changed and the black dot algae starts to flourish. Thank you for your cooperation.
